Although Maui Canyon Adventures operated canyoning tours for about a year, the state of Hawaii decided that we should be regulated via a permitting process, which unfortunately does not yet exist. Since February, 2009, we've been working with the state to develop the permitting process and obtain the required permit. This process is now nearly complete, and we'll be rappelling down waterfalls in beautiful canyons as soon as we have our permit.
