Hi, thank you for your question. "City" view is simply a room that looks out into the city. It doesn't highlight anything specific.

"Guest room, 1 King, Times Square view, Corner room" (as shown on Marriott site) room type is very specific. this room type is corner with a huge full wall window and looks out to Times Square. It literally has a view of the ball dropping on New Year's Eve! If you don't see it on the site it may be sold out.

Courtyard views of Central Park are partial. If you are looking for a direct and truely amazing view of Central Park look at the Residence Inn Central Park which is the upper half of the building. I hope that helps.

Hello,

As everyone has said, so far, the room is small. I had a corner king room. There is a desk that wrapped around the corner with a desk chair and one other chair. The bathroom was fine and there is an area for the coffee maker and refrigerator. For one or two people, in NYC, where you are not in your room that much, it was just fine.

Thank you for your interest and the question. It is completely dependant on the day of arrival and our volume of traffic. While our check-in time is 3:00 on Friday and Saturdays the guests start arriving first thing in the morning. as guests depart we clean them as quickly as possible and fill them almost immediatly. Sundays are typically a better day to arrive and later in the afternoon sometimes allows for more variety since the rooms don't fill as quickly.

I would advise that if high floor and amazing view are important you might want to consider the Residence Inn Central Park. the rooms start on the 37th floor so every rooom is above the neighbors and offers great views. There are however a limited number of rooms iwth 2 beds.

And, of course you can call the morning of arrival and check the status while requesting an early check in.

I hope that helps a bit.

best regards and safe travels.
