Caribbean Club Questions & Answers

Hi. Were there many other teens when you were there? We have 2 families with 2-17yo girls and 14yo boys. They are active and would like to be around other teens as well? Thanks in advance. Calista Butler

Hi,

The amount of teens will mostly depend on your travel dates, if you are planing a trip over the major school vacations during the summer or Spring Break and Christmas, their are usually lots of other teens, less so at other times during the year.

The units are wonderful for families with teens, enough privacy for everybody, yet they all have a large living space/kitchen and balcony to socialize and hang together.

There were a few teens around when I was there in the first two weeks of June this year. Obviously the concentrations of teens in any hotel or condo co-operative vary depending on school holidays and you can be lucky or unlucky with getting pockets of teens in some places and not others. Ask Danielle the manager, she may be able to give you a pointer as many guests are repeat visitors. As noted above, there will be places up and down the beach where you will find teens.....and I've always been relaxed about my teens wandering up and down the beach.

Hi there,

Firstly, the club with it's excellent apartments and good size bedrooms are ideal for families with teenagers - you'll not be under each other's feet. I'd also endorse the feeling of safety so no problem leaving the teens go off to the beach on their own.

The location is not an obvious activity hub although there are golf courses and diving centres within walking distance - but not sailing, kayaking, surfing etc that you'd find say on West Indian beaches. My suggestion would be to contact reservations direct to ask your question regarding local activities...

Best wishes

Hi, I agree with the above comments... More young families when we were there in may. That being said it is a relaxing low key hotel without a lot of activities which suited us just fine. Your teens may crave more excitement, but could stroll down to the Ritz. It was a very safe place and I felt totally comfortable walking along the beach, even by myself. Caribbean Club was amazing! Perfect stretch of uncrowned beach and rooms were beautiful and very high end. So convenient to cook in your suite with a full grocery store right across the street. You can not best that view sitting on your balcony looking out to the sea! Very few if any restaurants can beat that! Good luck and enjoy your trip!

The place is very kid friendly - though most of the families when we were there were young families, not teens, that may have been just the week we were there though. At the other end of the size scale is the ritz just down the beach, which is huge with loads of people of all ages - but I find it very impersonal there.
