Now Amber Puerto Vallarta Questions & Answers

Newport, United Kingdom

Hi

We are looking at this hotel for the first 2 weeks of June next year and wondered what the weather was like whilst you were there

Myself and my husband are in our 50's but very young at heart and my sister would also travel with us therefore is the hotel suitable for us as we usually visit Playacar when we travel to Mexico. Thank you for any information you can give

Hello,

It'll be very hot and very humid. The humid ex reached 42 and 45 degrees Celsius on most days. That would be approximately between 102 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit. You will feel the heat whether you're at the pool or the beach unless you cool off in the pool or there's an ocean breeze.

We stayed T the resort and managed the heat without a problem; we are 60 years old. I would definitely not walk to town again, even if it is in the morning as the heat is intense and oppressive 24/7.

Take care,

Zauberin

We traveled in April and we brought a friend of ours along, he had his own room. It's a great place to just chat with people at the pool...we all had fun. The weather was hot and sunny everyday. We have never been to Playa but people we met there said it was the only place they ever liked in Mexico...they said they preferred the weather in Puerto Vallarta better and would come back just for that reason.

I went in Feb. so don't know if June would be too hot. I am also in my 50's and traveled with my 24 yr old daughter. We both enjoyed out stay at Amber.

Hello Bev, we love the west side of Mexico the stability of the weather makes a perfect vacation getaway! The Now Amber is great it is located perfect for being as busy or sedate as you like! A safe and easy walk to the main tourist area in PV but you would never know it! If you can't see the entire view ask to be relocated there I a architectural flaw in the way the guiding is designed. The shower leak out badly so you go through the towels too! But both of the lobby bars have the best sunset viewing and the staff and food are great!
