Hi Everyone, I am thinking about staying here, is it in walking distance to everything? How far is bus from here, would it just be easier to take bus back and forth?

thanks

As everyone else stated, the hotel is in an excellent location and is close to nearly everything you need. There is a WEGO bus system that loops in several different routes around the area if walking is difficult. There is a stop right outside the hotel for one loop but you will have to transfer buses at the main area to get on a different loop. I don't remember the cost of the ticket but believe it to be about 7 or 8 dollars per ticket for a day pass. The tickets can be purchased directly from the front desk of the hotel.

I can't comment on the bus situation as my wife and I tend to walk to everything that we want to see in this area. The Fallsview Casino is less than 5 minutes away, and there are at least a dozen major restaurants within 7-8 minutes from the hotel. I think the prime viewing area for the falls itself is only about 10 minutes away.

It is within walking distance to the Casino and the various restaurants, we didn't use buses but drove down to the closest viewing area for the falls. I think walking down to the viewing area on the main road would be quite a hike, as we had a rental car I wasn't even aware of any buses but I guess there must be some.

Bus is right out front but we never used it either. You could get more central accommodations but then you'd be in a high rise. Not our style. We relaxed in chairs outside our door beside grass, birds and distant enough from traffic. Great restaurant right at edge of property, Tony Roma's across street, best breakfasts right in motel. Any closer and you will be in major congestion.

No they will try to sell you on the bus but we did not need it, we walked to everything in town, but we are big walkers on vacation to offset some of the extra calories that we eat. The falls is a easy walk as is the fallsview casino, casino maybe 5 minutes and falls maybe 10. We just spent 4 days there and did not take a bus once. We did drive out to Niagara on the lake about 30 minutes away, make sure you do this as it is a old quant town with plenty of history and shopping and food options. No trip to Niagara is complete without visiting Niagara on the lakes, my wifes favorite thing to do.

I don't know about the bus situation, but a lot of folks did walk from this hotel area to the falls. There is a change in elevation between the hotel and the falls but nothing too steep or too difficult.
