Baymont Inn & Suites Questions & Answers

La Mirada, California

Has there been any recent renovations to any of the rooms or the property? From the reviews and pictures, this place looks like it has been unattended to for many years. If I book a room I want to be sure I do not get a room that is so run down and we need a room away from fwy noise.

We still need to change our hall way carpet. We understand that it is outdated. However, we will not be able to undertake any major renovations till end of Summer as it is a huge inconvenience for many guests who have already booked and or staying. I understand that there are reviews about the rooms need updating. This is a subjective opinion. Most of our guests does not find our rooms are run down. We have the biggest rooms in town and even though our furniture and décor is not modern, they are all in good condition. We have put flat screen TVs in 1/3 of the rooms. All the bedding are Wyndham standard. As for any special requests we will do our best, but we cannot guarantee it. Any guests is welcome to visit the property for a tour before they book. We offer many free amenities and no other hotel in the area at this price point offer these amenities.

Our room faced away from the freeway. We did not hear the freeway at all.

The hotel decor and room was dated (i.e. old tube tv), but the beds were comfortable and our room was spacious. For the busy weekend that we stayed, this was by far the best value available. Hotels that had the reputation of being "one step up" were considerably higher in price.
