Sleep Inn Ft. Lauderdale International Airport Questions & Answers

Paso Robles, California

Hi, we're staying here after a cruise in November, do the cruiseport shuttles run regularly or do you have to call? Also I've seen free and cost $5 for the cruise shuttle, any updates. Also how are the renovations going, done? hopefully by November. Do the airport shuttles run at regular times? Thanks. Don

We were there in February for a cruise and we went to the desk and got on the shuttle list for the cruise port. It did take awhile because the port was very busy and so is the traffic there ad back. They try to keep on schedule but the amount of people going to the ports and airports determine when you go. We had plenty of time though to get to our ship and coming back to the airport after the cruise we called for the shuttle and it was maybe a 20 minute wait and we were one our way. We did not go back to the hotel after our cruise so we paid the company that is working with the hotel there in the lobby to pick us up and go to the airport and at that time it was 10 dollars per person. As far as the renovations in February our room and the hotel was fine and continental breakfast very good just go early because it is very busy with people heading out to the ports.

Once you collect your luggage after the cruise you call the hotel and they send the shuttle, cant be a bit of a wait as they use same shuttle for airport transfers. The cost is $5.00 per person for cruise terminal and free for FLL airport transfers. The airport shuttle works the same, once you collect your luggage make your way to the Hotel Transfer Bus area and call they will send the shuttle to collect you, they have several hotels and bus could be marked Econolodge or Sleep Inn. Ref the renovations, on my last visit they said all would be complete by winter so hopefully it will be complete. Enjoy

Hi Don

Our experience was about 1 month ago so it's fairly recent. When you check in you sign up for a shuttle time. (You can't call ahead and reserve a shuttle time) The cruise shuttle costs $5 per person each way. (I think the airport shuttle is free) When you disembark the cruise, you call the hotel and they send the shuttle over to get you. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes for it. Enjoy your cruise...if you're sailing on the Allure, I bet you will! Wahoowa1213

I had to call for the shuttle to pick us up. Even with the call we had to wait a good while for the shuttle to arrive. I don't know if they have a regular schedule or not. We were not charged a fee. I don't know the status of the renovations.
