There were local channels, we watched weather and you do get a visitors channel that tells mainly about local artist and where you can find their items. Some places you can even see how thing are made or even craft things yourself to take home.

Yes, you should. All the rooms in building C face Mt. LeConte and the 3rd floor is nice and high. Enjoy your visit. You will be in easy walking distance to so many places for shopping and eating. You just a quick car ride to the Park entrance and the Sugarland Visitor Center but be sure to have a full tank of gas b4 entering the park. You are also very near the Roaring Fork drive which is one of our favorite easy trips.

You should have a good view. I was on the first floor at the end, so I didn't. My sister and parents were in the middle of the floor and their balcony had a good view. From the 3rd floor you will be up higher which means a better view. If you want to really know, call them up and ask them if the room is at the end of the hall or the middle. That will tell you more.

I just stayed there three nights last week for probably my sixth time. Building C has fabulous views of Mt.Leconte. Sherrie at the front desk was so helpful as my plans had changed and she had to move me around a few times to accommodate friend with an injury. My last night I stayed on fourth floor in Building C. Love sitting on the balcony and the pool and hot tub are also a plus for anyone with sore muscles from hiking.

Yes you should have a great view of Mt. LeConte from this room. We will be staying in room 341 next month and I can better answer your question then. When we stayed in July we were in building B next to office. After talking to Pat at the front desk and telling her we were returning in September she let us look at rooms in building C. They are a little larger and you have private balconys. This hotel is not real fancy but it is very clean and comfortable. Hope you enjoy your stay and this info helps...
