You can walk toward the Cruise Ship landing, there's a trolley stop there. You can pay $3 for all day Trolley service. Easy to get to anywhere with that Trolley.

I even went all the way to the New Orleans City Park using the Trolley, great way to travel around New Orleans.

No shuttle service as others have said but the walk to the Quarter is a distance from this hotel. We used the Hop on Hop Off bus tour which was reasonably priced for the 3 days we were in town. They pick you up just across the street from the Embassy Suites and one of the stops is the French Quarter .

There is not a shuttle through the hotel. They will flag down a taxi for you. Also just down the street there is a train/trolley or tram (I can't think what to call it) that runs to the end of the French Quarter. You can pay for each time or get a day pass or even a week pass if you want. Just wait at the stop and it will come by every 10-15 minutes.
