We stayed at the Butchers' lovely lodgings for five consecutive years (99-03) at which time my lower back said, "Sorry, Ray. No more hiking." Linda and I used to hop the convenient direct flight...

so good I want to keep this one to myself

Rowanfield House is so good I wonder if I should be telling anyone else about or I'll find it that much harder to book. We have stayed for around 1 week for every year in the last 10 apart from 2003...

A beautiful property, with views as good as anything I've seen from any accommodation. Food outstanding, hospitality immaculate, rooms luxury. Non-smoking too!
