Well just returned for a short break in Sol Sun Beach. Having booked Sol Melia and Tryp accommodation before I knew what to expect for the money we were spending. The location could not be better...

Terrible place, furniture from the 1970s, refrigerator a rusty broken mess, no hot water at any time of day or night, sunloungers so bad I would not use ,balcony dirty with botched unfinished repair...

after staying in playa fanabe for the last 5 years over new year. staying in several different hotels and apartments. the best being (fanabe costa sur which was not much more expensive than sol sun)...

I stayed in this hotel in 2006 and would almost definetly go back. The area was classed as Playa De Las Americas but was quite a bit away which was good as when we went into the centre, we didn't like...

Booked through Flyglobespan. Checked into a room which can best be described as a cockroach infested dungeon! The patio(below road level) doors wouldn't lock, cupboard doors hanging off. 2 moves later...
