宿泊していたワンフーチンのホテルからタクシーで行きました。余談ですが、北京では本当に良くタクシーを使いました。コミュニケーションは行きたい場所を連呼＆筆談です。料金が安いこととと渋滞が思ったよりひどくなかったので、メインの足として活躍しました。天壇にもホテルから10分弱・10元ぐらいで到着しました。さて、天壇は公園になっていて、結構な広さがあります。一通り見て回るのに、1時間半ぐらいかかったでしょうか。緑地では、太極拳などをしている人がいて、普段の中国人の方の日常を垣間見た気がして、面白かったです。そういえば、この辺には、フートンが数多く残っているので、そこの住人なのかもしれません。一通りまわりましたが、天壇の一番の見所は、祈年殿だと思いました。2006年に修復が完了したことにより、塗装がケバケバしくなったとの声もあるようですが、青い姿が晴天に映えていてよかったです。
