It is the tenth busiest airport in the country, while being the fifth busiest if you just count international traffic. As such, getting cheap flights to Newark should be no problem. It handles over 33 million passengers per year and as you would expect of such a busy airport it has excellent facilities. It has three terminals with a variety of shops and restaurants available, including duty free shops. The AirTrain connects the airport with NJ Transit and Amtrak train services. A bus service is provided by NJ Transit Buses and, of course, there are numerous taxis and car rental companies for those who prefer travelling by car.
