If you plan on going to LBI, here are the places you want to go.
1. Sea Shell Motel Restaurant and Beach Club
Sea Shell Motel Restaurant and Beach Club, Beach Haven
Awesome shore bar with live bands, DJs, dancing, great drink specials on Thursday nights.
2. Chicken OR The Egg'
Chicken OR The Egg', Beach Haven
Best wings ever. Period. It's open 24 hours and is great after a long night at the bars.
3. Quarter Deck Inn Restaurant
Quarter Deck Inn Restaurant, Ship Bottom, New Jersey
Really cool bar, especially on Thursday and Friday nights. Always a fun time.
4. Joe Pop's Shore Bar
Great shore bar, good bands, good atmosphere. Check it out.
5. The Marlin
Good bar near the heart of Beach Haven
6. Pearl Street Market
Get a nice sandwich or some fresh steaks here
7. Nardi's
Bar with a drunk bus that will drive you home... can't go wrong
8. Ott's Breakfast Buffet
Great all you can eat breakfast buffet
9. Barry's Do-Me-A-Flavor
Barry's Do-Me-A-Flavor, Beach Haven
Great home-made ice cream. I recommend vanilla peanut butter.
10. Roberto's Dolce Vita Italian Restaurant
Excellent Italian food.
11. Beach Haven FIshery
Great seafood & steak. They do take-out well.
12. Ming Dynasty Buffet
Ming Dynasty Buffet, Manahawkin, New Jersey
Great Chinese buffet. Worth the $
13. Slice of Heaven
Slice of Heaven, Beach Haven
Great pizza...and you might run into hockey legend Gordie "Mr. Hockey" Howe, because he does stop in occasionally.
14. Stefano's
Nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Beach Haven.
