This was the most impressive thing we did. The palace is located in the middle of Seville and at first glace is very uninteresting, but it is truly worth the 7 euros. Surprisingly, it was not listed as first in any of our guidebooks. But it was breathtaking.
If you can manage to sneak in a 3 hour train ride from Seville, the Alhambra in Granada is definitely worth it. You should allow yourself about 2-3 hours. It sounds like a lot, but you will spend that much time just soaking it in. I would recommend going at sunset if possible (though it closes at 8).
3. Prado Museum (Museo del Prado)
This is one thing that I wish we had more time for. The Prado for museum connusieurs is a blast. There is so much beautiful artwork. Be prepared for a long day if you are traveling with a museum buff.
4. Queen Sofia Arts Center (Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia)
Even if you hate modern art, Reina Sofia is worth your visit. The building itself is awesome. The artwork, however, is even more impressive. Dali, Picasso line the walls.
5. Los Gallos Flamenco
Flamenco Company in Seville. Ask hotel receptionist. They will know exactly what is and will be able to book tickets.
7. Retiro Park (Parque del Retiro)
Try to visit the park at night. It is truly spectacular how it comes to life.
Wandering through these streets is an adventure. No map exists that includes all the small pathways. Be prepared to get lost a little bit, but it is worth it. The shops and restuarants are adorable and the buildings are beautiful.
