All around good time in downtown Indianapolis
This hotel has amazing views of the downtown skyline! The rooms are huge, the hotel is brand new, and the staff is amazing. All of the rooms have a kitchen (great if you will be in town for several days) and a shuttle service is availalbe to take you downtown.
A great location and amazing value in downtown Indianapolis. They have great family packages for the Zoo and Children's Museum. Hotel has an indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, free parking, and whirlpool suites!
The zoo is opening a new Oceans exhibit in early 2007. While not the largest zoo, it is one of my favorite places to spend a day. Perfect for kids of all ages.
Located within walking distance to the Zoo, the White River Gardens is a great place for those people with a green thumb. Younger kids will probably be a little bored. A great time of year to visit is during the butterfly exhibit.
About 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, the newly renovated IMA is a must see for art lovers. The bar is a great place to hang for young professionals after work.
Be sure to arrive early as seats fill up quickly. Located on the up and coming Mass. Ave., this jazz hotspot features live music. A great place to visit after dinner.
One of my favorite places for dinner. A local, upscale restaurant (forget the chain junk), this has become a destination on Mass. Ave. Reservations are accepted. One night a week the bar features great martini prices.
Looking for Greek? This is an absolute favorite - well worth a trip! Another local restuarant with belly dancers and great food. Be prepared to take food home as the portions are large.
