This is a list for couples or friends over 40 that don't like the nightclub scene, but enjoy some cocktails. For people who want to see it all but don't want to be rushed on a schedule of island hopping.

1. Lahaina's baby beach a private beach with pubic access
A quiet reef protected beach without massive crowds. We rented a house in Lahaina with "baby beach" in the backyard. The public access was a couple doors down. Not many tourists around. Off Front St. and Kamaka Circle.
2. Hana Hale Malamalama
after the "road to Hana" a great overnight place on a beautiful black sand beach.
3. Buy some exotic flowers in Hana at a roadside stand on the "honor system".
Leave your money in the box at the stand and take your pick of bunches of gorgeous flowers to take back to your room. The best $5.00 we spent in Maui. One bunch filled 3 vases.
4. Back in Lahaina, whale watching in March
The only group tour attraction we did, it was so amazing we did it twice. There are no words to decribe how incredible it was to see these beautiful creatures so upclose. I will only go to Hawaii during whale season,I can't reccommend it enough!
5. Cheeseburger In Paradise
Being in the resaurant business I usually don't patronize chain establishments however, you are in paradise and you need lunch:) . Great avacado burgers and great adult beverages.
6. Bought fresh off the boat Mahi-Mahi
Went down to the marina and watched the fishermen come in and they are very friendly. They offered us a beer and we had a great conversation and then he let us buy a fresh caught Mahi-mahi which he cleaned for us on the dock.If you don't have a house you can go to most beaches and cook it there.
7. Buy an original piece of art at the Lahaina Art Show to take home and remember your wonderful trip.
On the weekends art is big in Lahaina. They have a show under the giant Banyan tree of all local artists. They mail the canvas or framed art right to your home. A great way to memorialize your trip.
8. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters
My husband's favorite activity. See Hawaii from the sky, there are so many things you can't see from the ground.
