South Dallas Cafe has the best "Soul" food in all of Dallas. The menu rotates everyday but has mainstays. Everything is freshly prepared and the staff is very firendly and helpful
Great for picking up Italian imports, great house made sausage and meatballs, and deli sandwiches are great for a quick lunch.
3. Afrah Pastries
The "BEST" baklava in all of Dallas (Richardson) made in the Lebanese style. Every meal I have had was freshly prepared and will definitely be a memorable experience.
4. Mozzarella Company
The "best" fresh cheeses in Dallas. Have been in the cramped store in Deep Ellum and have heard of people coming from Philadelphia to get mozzarella while in town. Personal favorite is the Smoked Scamorza.
5. Luna's Tortillas Incorporated
Longest running tortilla factory still in business. Luna's is located close to the Victory Park complex and Downtown. Some of the best fresh corn tortillas in town. They also have great tamales!
6. El Ranchito Cafe & Club
Some of the best Norteno style of Mexican food to hit Dallas. The grilled cabrito (goat) is enough for two very hungry individuals and the freshly prepared corn and flour tortillas are to die for. Also a must when in Dallas!
