Beautiful forest and water falls. Try going to Argyle falls where you will walk with a guide swim under the falls and then return to the start where you can buy real hand made hot chocolate from the coco plant. fantastic!!
Argyle Waterfall is situated in the borough of Roxborough, which is located approximately 35 minutes from Scarborough. The drive to get there takes you through the scenic palm-fringed Atlantic coastline, lush cocoa-plantations and many tiny villages with friendly locals. These falls are Tobago's highest waterfalls, tumbling 54m (175 ft) in a series of stepped cascades. There is a 15 - 20 minute nature walk from the parking lot off of the main Winward Road to the actual falls and lots of different flora and fauna can be seen. After arriving at the falls itself, visitors can walk around, hike up to the highest point, or simply take in the sounds and delights of listening to the water actually fall on the dramatic rock formations. Of course, on a hot day, there are several deep cool ponds for swimming.
If you could paint a picture of a perfect Caribbean beach it would be Pigeon Point.
Still, turquoise water lapping onto a white beach, scattered with grass roof huts, a wooden jetty with a grass roof hut on the end of it, and swaying palms leaning over almost touching the water. That is Pigeon Point. And you've probably seen it many times - on the front pages of many Caribbean holiday brochures.
Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the waist-deep turquoise waters of Buccoo Reef with wonderful multi-colored fish and superb coral gardens. Next stop, try Nylon Pool, shallow, ideal for swimming with a soft sandy bottom. Join the crew of a glass bottom boat for an exciting snorkeling trip to Buccoo Reef. Tour Starts at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Tour also includes tour to No-Mans-Land for a Beach BBQ & Rum Punch Party (price includes all-you-can-eat BBQ). No-Mans-Land is a stunning palm-fringed beach on a deserted peninsula off of Tobago's Southern coast, only accessible by boat - a great party!
