1. Terra-Cotta Warriors and Soldiers Museum
A long way out of town, you will need a driver, costs approx. 90 rmb, best time to go is first thing in the morning before the tour groups arrive.
2. Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang
Basically a big hill you can climb to the top of, surfice to say you cannot go inside!
Ruins of an ancient settlement, with reproduction houses, not far from Warriors site
4. Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)
If you dont fancy climbing the tower, buy a ticket for the grounds to walk around
5. Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang)
Hire a bike and cycle along the top of the impressive city walls
Use the underpass to get here, drums beaten on the hour
Ditto with the Drum tower, these two are almost side by side, with Starbucks in between!
8. Great Mosque and Muslim Quarters (Including Islamic Market)
Even if you dont fancy viewing the Mosque, its definetly worth a trip to the market alone, situated behind the Drum/Bell towers. Tiny streets, lots of knicknacks, and good street food, take your camera.
9. Tang Dynasty Dinner Show
Two shows a night, and dinner, the show is 40 mins long and is a colourful display of dance, song and music, dinner is 21 types of dumplings!
