1. Calistoga

A great getaway for a day, overnight, or weekend
2. Indian Springs Spa

My favorite Calistoga getaway, hands-down. Get a mud bath if you dare for a great de-tox, and lie by the heated mineral pool for the rest of the day (free with spa services). I love the massages (60 minutes minimum, do yourself a favor!), facial, and my girlfriend Claire loves the body wraps.
3. All Seasons Cafe and Wine Shop
All Seasons Cafe & Wine Shop, Calistoga, Napa Valley
Make dinner reservations here first, you won't be disappointed. Ask for wine suggestions from their fabulous wine list if you're intimidated (or to try something new). I've been many times and keep returning.
4. Wappo Bar and Bistro
Named for the Wappo Native American Tribe from this area, you'll find a great selection of south-western cuisine here, with a great outdoor patio to boot.

Stayed here 2x -- so fabulous & charming the first time, we rebooked it for a year later. Very girly, and love the pet goldfish for the weekend.

All four Desperate Housewives are huge foodies, but this ranks in all of our top 3 meals of all time, anywhere in the world. Amazing food, presentation, wine pairing, service, atmosphere... when can we return?!? (And who's picking up the bill?)

Been there with both sets of best girlfriends. LOVE the spa & related amenities here. Great pool ambience, fabulous mid-strip location. When can we go back?
10. Love - Cirque du Soleil

We loved the LOVE show -- if you're a Beatles fan, you will too. Fabulous stage, wonderful Cirque performance, and of course you know every song! Absolutely worth the ticket price, will happily go back again.
11. O - Cirque du Soleil

Phenomenal Cirque du Soleil show all centered around water -- fabulous. We paid top dollar for front row, broke the bank and don't have to sit that close next time, but it's an amazing show if you can afford it.
