A beautiful hotel with european style and near to all main attaractions. Very closed to the tram stations and also the bus stations and the entrance of the grand bazaar is on the left side of the bus station and only 3 metro station away from all the main attraction. If you wish to go to Taksim from Beyazit, just take bus No. 61B (1.30 YTL) or tram for 1.30 YTL (written on it Kabatas) which is the last station and then take the funicular (underground) at the Kabatas tram station for 1.30 YTL to Taksim and come back with the same ride to Beyazit. This hotel is not recommended for senior people with walking problems or disable.
2. The Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan sarnici), Istanbul, Turkey
A beautiful and amazing sunken palace. The moment you walked in, you will feel the coolness of the area, the are many fishes in the water and the most amazing the two heads of the Medusa at the end of the Sunken Palace. A must to see. It cost only 10 YTL. If you wish to buy apple tea, after you visited this place, just walk to your left side towards the end of the row of shops, the last shop sells apple tea for only 2 YTL and turkish delight for 3.50 YTL and a coin purse for only 1 YTL which is cheap than any other places.
3. Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camii)
A beautiful mosque with its amazing architechture. The sound of the calling of Azan was so wonderful and soothing. The beautiful lightings in the mosque is a must to see with all the arabics writings on the wall. Free entrance.
4. Hagia Sophia Museum / Church (Ayasofya)
A beautiful museum with its own history and another place to see. 10 YTL entrance fee.
The most amazing palace with its beautiful design and architechture. The most beautiful treasures and unique with the most breath taking views from its balcony. 20 YTL per person including the Palace and the Harem side with an audio guide.
6. Dolmabahce Palace (Dolmabahce Sarayi)
If you wish to visit this palace, please be there early in the morning as it gets crowded later on with the tourist buses and the tour guide only consists of 35 people and you will have to wait outside the entrance under the sun without any chairs to sit on!! Bring a hat and umbrella with you if you go this time (May) as it rains sometimes. Entrance fee is 20 YTL (for Palace and the Harem) plus 6 YTL for the camera.
7. Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsisi)
A very nice and beautiful bazaar with lots of thing to buy but expensive compared to the Egyptian Bazaar.
8. Egyptian Bazaar (Misir Carsisi)
This one is smaller than the Grand Bazaar but you could do a lot of bargain here compared to the Grand Bazaar. There is a shop selling t-shirt which you could really get a good bargain for t-shirts for only 8 YTL per piece. The shop No. 62. Near to it is the port where you could take the boat ferry and fish restaurants.
Here you will find a lot of restaurant and the one we highly recommended is Afacan Restaurant which really yummy to the tummy and cheap too!!! The sweet restaurant Saray and Ozsut is also the best place to eat varities of delicious dessert!!!
