We began our days with a delicious breakfast outside on the veranda and, at the end of the day, we could be found soaking tired muscles in the hot tub and then slipping into an impossibly comfortable bed!
2. Rocky Mountain National Park
Gorgeous. Would recommend Alberta Falls, Emerald Lake, Bear Lake, and Mills Lake trails, all of which can be accessed from the Bear Lake trailhead!
Pretty views, but the summit hike is NOT worth it! Lots of steep climbing only to discover essentially the same view, now partially obscured. My legs hurt just thinking about it...
Yummy pizza and outdoor seating. Otherwise hubby and I didn't really eat any great meals, but then that wasn't why we were there. Plan to pack picnic lunches to eat on hikes instead!
