Ave price: $280
Very nice hotel. Even when its booked solid, the hotel doesn't seem crowded. Great beachfront. Gives you free towels to take to the beach and you can rent beach stuff on the beach. Reserve a room through their website with one of their many specials. Otherwise the hotel is kinda expensive when you get the 'rack-rate'.
Ate here when they had the Friday night Seafood/PrimeRib buffet night. The restaurant is pretty expensive, but with the buffet (which includes dessert table as well) you can get a good amount of food. Wasn't crowded when we were here so not too long of line for food.
Awesome sunset views. Ate here right at sunset and it didn't disappoint. Servers were very attentive and the food was very good. Expensive, but you are paying for the view.
4. Spago - Maui
Very good view. Doesn't have an awesome view like Ferraros but the food was a little better than them.
Must do drive. You can go all the way around the highway. Don't turn around at the bottom. The road isn't the greatest, but if you have a rental car (we had a Mustang convertible and it was fine) its OK if you don't drive like a maniac. The views on the other half (which is more desert like) are the complete opposite of the 1st half (which is wet). You actually find yourself getting 'tired' of seeing waterfalls (which is funny idea).
Great views at the top of the crater. Pack a jacket cause it is about 10-20 degrees colder up there. We went up in the middle of the day and it was nice drive.
Very nice Luau that is not cheesy and has good food and music/entertainment. Definately book way ahead of your trip. If you call them on the phone, you can reserve your seats but not have your credit card charged until the day of. If you order online, they charge your card immediately. I thought the drinks at the open bar were not that good. otherwise it was a nice experience.
Very green and scenic place to see.
9. Wai'anapanapa State Park
Hit this on Hana drive. Has black rock beach that is neat to see and be on for a little bit.
See this on the Hana Drive. The 7 sacred pools were too dangerous when we visited but it was a very scenic place to see and great views.
Definately try to do a snorkle trip out to Molokini. The fish at the crater are very colorful. When we went, we saw dolphins on the way out and sharks at the crater.
