3.5 of 5 stars based on 1 vote

My son and I had a great time doing these activities.

  • Category: Perfect week or more
  • Appeals to: Families with small children
  • Seasons: Summer
  • 1. Go to the Universeum, a children's museum
    http://www.universeum.se

The Universeum has lots of fish and other animals, fun trails and walk ways, and a giant gymboree like playroom!

  • 2. Explore the playground at Slottskogan
    http://www.parkochnatur.goteborg.se/prod/parkochnatur/dalis2.nsf/vyPub...

Slottskogan has a great playground that is HUGE. Get off at the Linnéplatsen tram stop. The playground is a 10 minute walk. On the park map its listed as "Plikta - lekplats".

  • 3. Ride the kids rides at Liseburg
    http://www.liseburg.se

  • 4. Play at Trädgårdsföreningen Park

Trädgårdsföreningen Park has a small but fun playground. Is nice because its right in the center of town, and if you're staying at a hotel near by, there's no need to take the tram to get there. Also, its nice to have a grassy, gated, clean, open space for kids to run around. It costs 15 SEK for adults, kids are free. It has entrances on Södra Vägen and Drottningtorget (Kanalgatan).

  • 5. Visit Bushet, a large indoor playspace
    http://www.bushuset.se

This a great option for a rainy morning. It has a huge slide that ends in pool full of balls. There is a trampoline room with 6 trampolines. There are tall towers to climb, but its all very safe because they are netted in. There is also a movie room and a disco dancing room. This is a safe and fun space for young kids! Get off the tram at the Varbergsgatan stop (line 4), right in front of the ICA Maxi. Walk in front of the ICA Maxi and past a bunch of offices and around the building to your left. You'll see signs along the way for Bushuset.
