Cap Juluca was AMAZING! The room was spectauclar. The beach was perfect. The service was top notch. We are already planning our return trip!
2. Kemia Restaurant
Kemia is a tapas restaurant on Cap Juluca. The food was fantastic! You must have the conch fritters and the conch sushi. The menu is unique with a clear Asian flair.
Our cab driver recommended Tasty's to us on the ride to the resort. The food was spectacular and reasonably priced as far as lunches go on Anguilla. My husband and I both had salads and they were terrific.
Blanchard's was our favorite dining experience. It was truly the only place that really celebrated our occasion. It was nice to be treated with that kind of excitement once on our honeymoon. The staff was great. They even wrote "Congratulations" on our dessert plate:) The food was terrific. In fact, my husband purchased their cookbook on our way out the door that evening. The menu was diverse and everything we ate, from appetizers to desserts, was terrific.
5. Pimms
Pimms is a second restaurant on Cap Juluca. Honestly, we didn't enjoy this restaurant as much as the others we went to. The view was spectacular but the food was simply okay. There are so many other choices on the island that I think you can skip this one.
6. Oliver's
Oliver's is a restaurant you cannot miss! The atmosphere and the romance just oozes from this place. It is set on a cliff overlooking the ocean and lit softly by candlelight. It was the most romantic place we went to on the island by far. The service was impeccable. The food was fantastic (the salmon here was amazing). Another terrific surprise was the little bar downstairs where the staff allows you to enjoy your after dinner drinks and/or dessert while relaxing in comfy chairs overlooking the beach. This is a restaurant we will return to on our next trip!
7. George's
My husband and I attended George's beach BBQ on Cap Juluca. They had many, many different dishes to sample including salads, appetizers, desserts, grilled items...everything you need for a beach BBQ. The music was provided by a local band and tables were set up on the beach under the stars. The food was great with many choices and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing.
Straw Hat is a quirky and fun place to dine on the island as well. This restaurant is tucked off the beaten path, right on the water. My husband and I went for an early dinner (7ish) and were the only ones in the place for about an hour. The food was great (You have to sample the carmelized bananas) and the atmosphere and theme of the straw hat is adorable.
