This hotel is amazing. They redid the historic building only recently and I haven't stayed there but I've only heard great things. The lobby is spectacular! I have been to a party there and that was great. I've eaten lunch at the restaurant; the food and atmosphere are both wonderful. The bar/lounge is a hot spot and also has nice atmosophere. This is where I would stay if I needed a hotel.

Like the Skirvin, this is another historic building. It certainly isn't as grand but is definitly swanky. The art deco decor makes the hotel modern and sophisticated. All rooms have flat screen TVs and Ipod radios. The restruant is also very good and they also have a good lounge/bar.
No one would ever think that Oklahoma City would have a world class sushi restuarnt but we do!! This is my favorite regular dinning place and it never gets old. It is located on Western Ave and is a favorite amoung northwest Okc. The atmosphere is the right amount of mix between western and eastern cultures. It is not too loud or real quiet; small but also hopping; not too trendy not too regular. I recomend the sexy roll or the cajun roll. The best roll is probably the life saver.
Across the street is Mushashi's which is a Japanesse steak house owned by the same people and next door is Cafe Nova which is popular but I've never eaten there. I know the patio bar is always packed.
This is more expensive than the others but it is well worth it! The wait staff is fabulous and very experienced. They have the best wine selection out of anywhere. The atmosphere is quiet and refined. Of course the food is to die for! Do not miss this gem.
5. Saturn Grill
Great for lunch. Everything on the menu is "out of this world". They have salads, pizza, sandwiches, and regular entres. They even have a great wine and beer selection. The atmosphere is fun as well. Located in the ritzy Nichols Hills Plaza.
6. Western Avenue Shopping District
From 42nd to Wilshire Bvld. this street boasts some of the best shopping in the city. It has antique shops, gift and clothing stores, even a vespa store! You are guaranteed a unique and pleasureable shopping experience. I recommed the French Cowgirl (a truely Oklahoman experience), Spiral Beadery (make your own jewelery), and On A Whim (more expensive but nice).
This great museum. They have a permant collection of Chihully Glass and an extensive modern art gallery. The have fabulous traveling exhibts. Also check out a movie at the theater. They play everything from small independent films to old movies. The restaurant is also very good with a nice light atomsphere.
8. Kirkpatrick Science and Air Space Museum at Omniplex
Great place to take the kids. Almost everything is hands on and the museum is big. From gravity to weather to agriculture they have everything here. Its really fun for the whole family.
Good American food. Pleasant atmosphere overlooking the lake. I recommend going during sunset because they make a big deal out of it and its fun and romantic. This is also kid friendly.
See the Riverwalk, eat at some of the spectacular restaurants, see a movie, or shop all this is available to do in bricktown. Very fun place to be.
12. Chilenos Mexican Restuarants
I love tex-mex and this is the best. They have several locations but my favorites are in South OKC. Great tortillas and salsa. Have the mariachi band sing you a song.
