1. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
Check Rates ABS:HotelCheckRates-d125310?src=GoListDetail&fromServlet=GoListDetail&Action=QC_Button
Ave price: $197
A moderate Disney resort, boasting 5 quiet pools and one large pool with a water slide. Rooms offer views of the sassagoula river and easy water craft rental (kayak, canopy boat, pontoon boat or jet skis). Bike are also available for rental right at our resort. For a special moment, we may take a horse and buggy ride through the meandering paths around the resort. Some reviewers complained about getting lost on the paths, but I think that's just what we need. Also, if needed, I know how to read a map. If taking Disney bus transportation is not romantic enough for us, we'll hop on the boat that docks right at our hotel and take a relaxing ride to Downtown Disney for dining, shopping, and other pleasures -- like the comedy clubs on Pleasure Island.
2. Moonlight Carriage Rides from Port Orleans Riverside
A relaxing 25 minute ($35, tax included) ride on the meandering resort paths. We'd take the 9:30pm ride for extra romance. No need to exchange money, charge it to your room. Reservations suggested.
3. La Nouba - Cirque du Soleil
After seeing a show in our area, and determining that it was indeed, the coolest thing I've ever seen, it follows that we'll see this show in Downtown Disney. Hope it's as awesome as Varekai!
4. Ghiaradelli Soda Fountain
In Downtown Disney. What couple can resist sharing a banana split or chocolate malted milkshake?
Le Cellier Steakhouse is located in the Canada Pavillion in the World Showcase. The theming is that of a wine cellar. It's not dark and dank, but rather, warm and intimate. The ambiance is created by the candlelight and other ambient lighting as well as the softly lighted stone arches.
6. Restaurant Marrakesh
A Moroccan themed restaurant complete with a belly dancer and tile mosaics. We love the Moroccan couscous, chicken bastilla, and lemon chicken (We have a Marrakesh in DC) and for desert, I can only hope that they have mint tea and baklava.
7. San Angel Inn
The food didn't get the best reviews, but that atmosphere is like none other. It can transform a simple mid-day lunch into an intimate night out in ancient Mesoamerica. Add margaritas, and it sounds like the perfect respite.
8. Garden View Tea Room in the Grand Floridian
High tea in the afternoon. A great way to experience the ambiance of the Grand Floridian for those of us who will never be able to stay there. Several kinds of loose tea available, also champagne, scones, tea sandwiches. If you enjoy tea and all it's accompaniments, this sounds exquisite.
9. Horseback rides at Ft. Wilderness
"Guided horseback rides are offered 6 times daily (8:30, 10, 11:30 a.m., 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m.) at the Tri-Circle D Livery at Fort Wilderness. The rides, which cost $42 per person, last approximately 45 minutes. The horses are tame and walk pretty much single file during the ride". I've ridden before, but my fiance hasn't. This could be the perfect introduction.
10. Parasailing from the Contemporary Resort
Tandem Flight:
Regular: $140 per flight (8-10 minutes at 450 feet)
Premium: $162.50 per flight (10-12 minutes at 600 feet)

A exhilarating and romantic experience. Imagine soaring 600 feet above the park! This we will definitely be doing!
11. Free Campfire and Disney movie at Ft. Wilderness
"Go to Fort Wilderness for the campfire/sing-along, nightly at 7pm behind the Meadow Trading Post. Classic Disney movie following the sing-along beginning at approximately 7:40pm. FREE OF CHARGE! The Fort Wilderness staff will provide a campfire; marshmallows and sticks are available for purchase at $2 for 2 sticks and plenty of marshmallows; $5 for a s'more kit".
To get there take a boat ride from the Contemporary. Very romantic.
12. Bob the Piano Player at River Roost Lounge
The River Roost Lounge becomes a piano bar at night where Bob, the piano man, plays well known songs and makes everyone feel welcome. The best part is that its FREE!
