This is a must if you like contemporary art and architecture.
This is supposedly one of the three most beautiful places in Japan. It's beautiful!
The ride up in the glas escalators is a thrill, and the view breathtaking. If you get there just before sunset, you get to see both the day- and nightview, and of course the sunset.
Japanese style Inn - with private outdoor Onsen bath - in Kawaguchiko, near Mount Fuji. Enjoy spectacular views of Fuji-san!
My favorite temples were:
Silver Pavilion (Ginkaku-ji); Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji); The Daitoku-ji complex of Zen Buddhism consists of 24 temples, don't miss Daisen-in and Ryogen-in with amazing zen gardens; Fushimi Inari Shrine, go there at night when you can have it all to yourself; Sanjusangendo Hall (Rengeo-in), with 1001 life-sized, wooden statues of Kannon.
The combination of the art museum and the city view is a winner.
Walk through the forest up to Okunoin and look at all the amazing gravestones. And don't miss the zengarden in Kongôbuji Temple.
Don't miss it, but make sure you know how to behave before you dive in... wich you shouldn't!
A part of Tokyo, between Shibuya and Ebisu. Nice for shopping and strolling.
A mix between pancake and pizza they call it. Eggs, cabbage and bacon. Soysauce on top. Delicious!
