This was my favourite beach in Miami. For one thing it was very close to my hotel :-) Also, lovely white sand, blue water, and more importantly, water that gets deep quickly! I like to be out of my depth. The top 3rd of the beach is clothing optional, if you like that sort of thing!

Lovely beach on the North shore of Key Biscayne. Went there on a Tuesday and it was almost deserted, quite romantic. Plenty of trees for a bit of shade.

Not near Miami of course, lol. We stopped here on the way to Key West. Very beautiful, with white sand and clear blue water. It's quite shallow though. Apparently it was too windy to go kayaking- bah!

A very beautiful pool. Large swimming area, caves to explore, waterfalls, and picturesque areas for sunbathing. It's closed on Mondays.

We hired an umbrella and spent the day here. There's a pleasant boardwalk with shops and cafes.

Nice beach. I love lighthouses so that adds to the charm.

I like Lummus Park, simply because it has pullup bars! Get some sun, have a swim, work the upper body, it's all good :-)

South Beach is cool - not as many people as I'd expected. Maybe it gets busier at weekends. Many colourful lifesaving huts as seen on postcards, TV etc.

This one's directly outside my hotel. Went here late in the day so it was a little bit cold, but it's a nice beach.
