1. Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL
Abraham Lincoln's burial place
President Kennedy is buried here, his gravesite is marked by an eternal flame
There are 18 British monarchs that are buried here as well as many statesmen. There are memorials to Chaucer, Browning, Dickens and others in the "Poet's Corner"
4. Roman Forum (Foro Romano)
In the forum you can see the remains of the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated. This is a popular spot for people to leave flowers.
Huge tomb for a little man!
You can't miss Eva Peron's ("Evita's") grave because to this day it is completely covered in flowers and cards.
Benjamin Franklin's gravesite
The big Hollywood stars that are buried here include Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin and Truman Capote.
9. Pere-Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetiere du Pere-Lachaise)
Lots of famous people buried here, but the most popular of course is Jim Morrison. Beautiful cemetery...
10. William Wallace plaque at St. Bart's hospital, London
This plaque is on an outside wall of St. Bart's hospital in the Smithfield area of London. It marks (near) the spot where William Wallace ("Braveheart") was tortured and executed in 1305.
