What can I say The best 4 star hotel in Vilamoura. Price is good although latetly is getting more expensive as its gets more popular. Just by the beach (marina beach) and within walking distance from the marina.

The best of the budget places. I am really surprised with some of the reviews here on tripadvisor. The place is about 2 km from the Marina (centre) has a courtesy bus that runs 4 times a day (free for guests) and taxis cost only 5.00 euros for 4 people per trip. The staff is fantastic and helpful. The apartments are spacious but basic in decor and have fully equipped Kitchen or kitchenette. There is a bar and a restaurant on site and a supermarket within 50 meters from reception. But what makes this special worth mention is the price. This place is for the ones that are travelling on a budget not for the "fussy ones". If you expect more of an accommodation place Pay more.
3. il Lamparo Restaurant

Probably one of the best known and popular restaurants in Vilamoura (Marina). Il Lamparo offers you a unique experience. Try French, Italian or Portuguese dishes with a unique touch. Must book in advance to reserve a table. With a little bit of luck you might end up eating on a table next to your favourite football star or pop singer. Price is acceptable if you consider level of service and food served.
4. Zu Yi Restaurant
If you love chinese food you must visit Zu Yi on Vilamoura Marina. Food is great, service is excelent and price is for everyone. A must....
5. Sinatra Bar
New and diferent. Great entertainment everynight. Located on the far end side of the Marina.
6. Oceanico Old Course - Golfing
The Old Course is still the best of the Vilamoura golf courses although the prices are increasing to an almost prohibitive level. It is getting more difficult to book and the new mangement is not as generours as the previous one (vilamoura owners are now paying more for their golf). An hotel is expected to be built on site and construction should start soon (that is the gossip....). Your best way to find cheaper green fees is still to book through a local golf agency. Check online.... Alternatively discover other golf courses away from Vilamoura in both west & specially east side of the algarve where deals are better (agencies are now providing shuttle services). If you don't want to go that far away from Vilamoura try Vila Sol Golf Course on the outskirts of Vilamoura.
7. Casino Vilamoura

In downtown Vilamoura go to see the show. They also sell meal packages but the food is not that good.... A show ticket costs only 14 Euros per person and you have a drink included. A must .....
8. Car Hire in Vilamoura

Long established, very profissional, fair rates and good cars. This company also runs the courtesy shuttles from most of the hotels in vilamoura to the golf courses and back.
