This little known wildlife sanctuary in East Brainerd is very off the beaten path; even many locals haven't heard of it. South Chickamauga Creek curves through the over two hundred acre property and more than four miles of trails wind through its woods. The acres were at one time the site of Little Frog Indian village and an eighteenth century cabin of the same name some hundred years later, and also were involved with the Trail of Tears. Here's a list of interesting sites in this small and little known though incredibly fascinating refuge in the midst of urban sprawl.
