  • 1. Hotel Telegrafo
    Hotel Telegrafo, Havana, Cuba

Serving Pastries, cold beer and sketchy company, this is the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast in the morning. Located on the corner of Parque Central.

  • 2. Hotel Inglaterra
    Hotel Inglaterra, Havana, Cuba

With several live music sets starting at about 11am and lasting through the day, enjoy cold beer, staff that have been here for years, clean bathrooms, bad food and GREAT MUSIC. Dance lessons can be arranged by Nicholas and the band.

  • 3. NH Parque Central
    Iberostar Parque Central, Havana, Cuba

After your beer breakfast you need to relax and splurge. If this is your hotel, you have made the right choice. If not, you should still cruise up to the roof top pool restaurant for a yummy sandwich and outstanding View.

  • 4. Hotel Mercure Sevilla Havane
Hotel Mercure Sevilla Havane, Havana, Cuba

After lunch, live Music at the Hotel Sevilla, located just a short walk from Parque Central starts in the open courtyard located in the center of this historic hotel. Take your own toilet paper.

  • 5. Hotel Plaza
    Hotel Plaza, Havana, Cuba

Around 4pm is a great time to head up to the Roof Top bar of the Hotel Plaza. Again, located just a short walk from the Sevilla, right across the street from the Parque Central. Occasionally the Salsa Teacher shows up at 4pm to give free lessons. More often then not you will visit with the lone Bartender and have your picture taken with the Bacardi bat in the background.

  • 6. La Bodeguita del Medio
La Bodeguita del Medio, Havana, Cuba

Dinner time and the scene at La Bodeguita cannot be beat (well it can, but only at the places you discover on your own) Great historic spot, good food, expensive drinks, cranky bartender and a pushy crowd. Luckily you are fortified to deal with it by now. Have one platter of meat and one platter of shrimp. Just a few blocks from Parque Central. If you get lost stumbling around, someone will help you.

  • 7. Hotel Nacional de Cuba
Hotel Nacional de Cuba, Havana, Cuba

After dinner cocktail if you are up for it. Taxi required to get you here. Worth seeing.
