Being from the midwest, these are places that I have enjoyed on the East Coast. I am far from an expert - just a casual visitor.
1. New England Holocaust Memorial
New England Holocaust Memorial, Boston, Massachusetts
This is on the Freedom Trail and is very powerful. EVERYONE should see it. It has the names of the different camps and the numbers of the victims in the camp
2. Ocean City
Ocean City
A beach, a boardwalk, shopping, food and plenty of people and people watching. Ocean City is really a wonderful place to be.
3. Fenway Park
Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts
Whether you like the Red Sox or not... Fenway really is an original. The fans are friendly assuming you aren't at a game cheering for the Yankees.
4. Central Park
Central Park, New York City, New York
This really is an amazing location. Acres of open spaces with huge buildings right beyond the field. The lake, the paths, its all really incredible..
5. Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Olde City Philly is really a great place to be and in the middle of downtown Philly. The liberty bell, Independence Hall, the Tomb of the Unknown American Revolution Soldier among many other destinations
6. Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore, Maryland
This is the 1st "retro" ballpark that was made and it is a great place to watch a game.
7. Citizens Bank Park
Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Another great stadium, wide concourses, a variety of food, some intense fans. The Philly Phanatic
