We visited the Canadian Rockies with an 18 month old.
Wonderful place! We loved staying here! Great service and really really cute. Perfect for a toddler because we had a kitchen and separate room for sleeping! We stayed here the whole time and did day trips from here everyday.
Some of the best food I have ever had. This was not for kids, but we did bring our toddler and she was well behaved and they were open to her being there. I would only bring kids who can sit still and be fairly quiet for dinner.
Here we just did a visit and did the Bow Falls Hike. It was just 20 minutes each way and very beautiful. Perfect for carrying a toddler on your back!
Perfect little cafeteria breakfast before getting on a really beautiful gondola. It is all enclosed so you don't have to worry about your little one jumping out.
Very nice place. The food was good and great for bringing kids!
Johnston Canyon Lower Falls Hike - .6 mile each way. This was perfect for hauling a toddler on your back. Our toddler gets jumpy after about an hour in the pack!
This was about 30 mins each way from our hotel. We also did a picnic at Peyto Lake. We did the Peyto Lake Hike at Bow Summit (30 mins each way).
Very tasty and also great for kids. We had a nice meal and very quick service.
We visited Takakkaw Falls (10 minute stroll from parking lot). We also saw Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge along the way.
LOVED this place! We stopped for lunch while visiting Yoho. What a fun little place to stop and enjoy!
We did the Marble Canyon Hike - Self-guided trail (0.6 mile each way) and Paint Pots Hike - Scenic one-km trail (20 minutes each way). Perfect little hikes to get a feel for the area!
