Nice compact hotel near the city centre. Very friendly, efficient staff, neat and very clean with a lovely breakfast in the mornings. Within walking distance of Raffles and Orchard Ave. |

| This is a must do for anyone going to Singapore, I have a fear of heights however there is seats in the capsules so you can sit down. You can see 3 different countries from the top of the flyer. Underneath they have a Rainforest with running stream, little waterfalls, along with fish and turtles. It was one of the real highlights. |

Paris was very busy in summertime however the tourist buses that travel around the city is a good way to see the main sites and you can get on and off as often as you like. The trip from London on the Eurostar was very nice however not what was expected. |

| Cape Cornwall is basically the untouched Land's End. It was very beautiful and not commercialised. The Cornish landscape is just amazing. The only recommendation is that you may what to join the National Trust or similar as they charge for all the car parks. |

| Minack Theatre is a interesting natural theatre built into the cliff side. Unfortunately when we were there a Theatre act was in progress so we couldn't go down into the theatre however if you time it right it is worth seeing |

This guesthouse was a lovely home away from home, there is two classes of rooms and we went for the slightly dearer room however we had plenty of room and a lovely big bed. Breakfast served downstairs had variety and were generous portions. The guesthouse was within walking distance to the village and train station. |

| We went to Goathland as we both really enjoyed the tv program Heartbeat and this is where is was filmed. Whilst we enjoyed going we did think that it would have been better taken the car and driving there rather than going on the train as you are restricted to their arrival and departure times. However if you are a steam train buff then the train journey is worth it. |

| Worth a visit especially with all the wax museum statues, really brings it to life however worth checking school holidays or when schools trips are likely to occur. We had to park right down the back in the fields and it was a good 15min walk up to the castle, however you are walking through some love forest style gardens. |

| The wartime tunnels at the Dover Castle are really intersting and there is a tour through the white cliffs that show what life was like in the war time. Hubby even thinks he saw a ghost. The rest of the castle was pretty interesting as well. However if you want to see the White Cliffs you need to have a car. |

10. Bekonscot Model Village

| Great if you have children, not so great just adults. However it was pretty cool. |

| Lovely hotel, no laundry facilities even though they said there was, close to subway however wouldn't go out at night there. |
12. Empire State Building
| Amazing, get there early as there are lots of queues to get to the top, disappointing for us as it was a hazy day so visibility wasn't that great however it does make you appreciate the vastness of New York. |

| A very lovely German settled town, has a river boat called the Bavarian Belle and a couple of horse drawn carriage to trip around the town. Also the home to the Largest Christmas Shop around |

| The Marv Hertzog Hotel is a relatively new hotel, on a small scale only 3 stories high however they provide a lovely breakfast in the mornings and complimentary drinks in the evening. It is located on the main street however is still very quiet with a balcony out the back overlooking the river. |

| Lovely eating establishment, with many varieties so that you choose whatever level of eating you wish. |

16. Zehnder's of Frankenmuth
| Amazing menu and more that one person can eat, very well worth the visit. Also has other eating areas if you don't feel like a big meal |
17. Bronner's Christmas Wonderland
| Worth a visit even if you don't like christmas all that much it was just amazing and I would really like to go back here in the winter time when the lights come on early. |
18. Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel
Ave price:
$135
Not one of the biggest or flashiest however worth the money and the rooms was very lovely for our needs. Outlook wasn't that great however we weren't in the room that often |
19. Grand Canyon National Park
We took the coach out past the Hoover Dam (a marvel in itself) and went to the western rim where we took the helicopter down into the canyon (4000ft) to the river, there we got on a little punt boat and travelled up the river for about 15mins and then drifted back down in about 5mins (the helicopter and boat ride are a must). Could have done with about another hour or two however we did get out to Guano Point. Wasn't game enough to do the skywalk. |

20. Universal Studios Hollywood
| As far as theme parks goes this was one of the best I have been to, get in early to go on the tour. Getting from the upper lot to the lower lot is like a ride on its own. You could get very wet on several rides however a must do here is the Water World show. |
