Freeport: Bahamas, nice clean, beautiful island. Glass Bottom Boat Tour, Port Lucaya Marketplace. Grand Bahama Nature Tour , Freeport Cave, Lucayan National Park, Gold Rock Beach. Best to stay at the Sheraton or Westin, right across from the Port Lucaya Marketplace. Go with $$$, Zorba's restaurant (very affordable Greek, Bahamian, American style restaurant), and Carribean Cafe (Steam Conch - excellent)!!!

Grand Bahama island is very beautiful. The roads are clean, plenty of driving space, felt very safe. There are many tourists from every parts of the world. Italian, French, Americans, Germans, even Pakistanis!!! Bahamas, is nice!!! It can be expensive, just remember to have fun. Don't forget to buy the coupon book for $10 dollars. I saved lots of money in dining, and activities. Good luck!!! |

Thank God, I was in a non-smoking room, as I requested. I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. It was a nice clean hotel, since I had great service. There was this one receptionist, I must say, was the most pleasant person I've dealt with on the island, she wears dark blue, not the orange the other receptionists wear. The pool is so nice, but, once I went to Westin's pool, I've enjoyed Westin's pool much better. It's best to eat at the restaurants across the street, if you're on a budget. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, if $4 coffee is your taste, and $7 ++ for sandwiches, or $4 crossants/bagel. There is internet service, cable TV, frige in the room. Go and see for yourself! |

| Check out my review for this great little haven. Cheap affordable place. Whether you crave Greek, American, Bahamian food you are in the right place. Just stay away from the conch fritters. Great burgers, um um good!! |
