Famous architects rest here along with elite of Chicago. Beautiful grounds.
2. Bohemian National Cemetery
Mayor Cermak (assassinated by a bullet intended for FDR) plus lovely sculptures and monument and a landmark entrance gate.
Gorgeous cemetery with graves of many famous Chicagoans, both Christian and Jewish.
Gangsters and cardinals united in death plus unique stonecutting
5. Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago
Mayor Harold Washington, Enrico Fermi, Jesse Owens and unnumbered Confederate POW's.
6. Acacia Park Cemetery, Norridge, Illinois
Masonic cemetery with plain grave but gorgeous neo-classical mausoleum. Mr. Roebuck of Sears fame plus columnist Mike Royko reside here.
