We stayed at Mandarin Boutique Hotel in Faralya near Oludeniz.Right above the Butterfly Valley,on the old Lycian Way. The village stretch upto 7km first quarter, middle and the Kabak region, with the nice unspoilt beach of Kabak. We took a walk up to the mountain village of Alinca and admired the stunning views from above

  • 1. Kabak Beach

The less know little unspoilt bay is about 4km from Mandarin Boutique Hotel is the end of the road, and after a descent of approx 10minutes you are down onto a sandy/pebble beach crystal clear water and almost to yourselves..On the way back stop for a cold beer at the olive gardens

  • 2. Butterfly Valley
    Butterfly Valley, Fethiye, Mugla Province

The descent can be tricky, well to do it in the spring when the earth is still firm otherwise be careful when descending not for everyone..Avoid the place in the high season..boat afterboat full of brits from Oludeniz,Ovacik, and beyond take this trip approx 1000 people a day and it is not pleasant

  • 3. Gemile Bay

Furher along Kaya Village you drive down to this bay located right opposite Saint Nicholas island which you will find sevrela ruins on it.The bay is very pleasant of season but at the height of the season July and August can attrack many boats also and can be crowded..alternatively a walk down to Afkule will bring you to an unspoilt bay however the descent can be steep and the way back a bit difficult..
