Beautiful Beach. Too many tourists. Take the bus #7 near the ship. They had a special charter bus that went to the Beach. As soon as you get off the ship go directly to the information booth and get tokens for the bus. They ONLY TAKE TOKENS. Look to see if there is a charter bus and ask the bus company people that are milling around. It saved us time and line of people.
We rented a car from the airport which is 15 minutes away. The trip was about a hour. The rented car had a GPS to take us their. We went to the top and did the Juan falls. There was nobody their. My kids were able to jump in the falls . Had a great picnic where we grabbed sandwiches from the boat and brought with us. The road is filled with bus tours. We skipped through them. We had to shorten our stay because there was a downpour and then it rained the rest of the day. We would love to come back and see more.
We took the Jester sailboat in which I reviewed here separately. Cabs are $11 pp. Very beautiful island. Better then all the other places we visted. Need to spend more time here then in Puerto Rico.
We landed here early in the morning but didn't get to the beach until 3:00. It was packed because their was another cruise ship in. People were going back to the ship by the time we got their. We went to the right on the little beach. DON'T. There are rocks that you can't go out to swim. It hurts the feet. Even though their were alot of people make sure you go were everyone else goes. The sand and water was nice. We then went to Margaritaville. The kids enjoyed the pools and there was some great shops.
