Best cities to listen to live music in pubs, bars and other venues.
1. New Orleans, LA
New Orleans, Louisiana
The place to go to listen to live music, jazz in particular. In almost every bar, every pub on and beyond Bourbon street, there is a band playing. Do not miss historical "Preservation Hall".
2. Nashville, TN
Nashville, Tennessee
The Grand Ole Opry, major venue for country bands and musicians, turned Nashville into the capital of country music

Movie "Buena Vista Social Club" by Wim Wenders made many realize of the great quality and rythms of Cuban music.
