This is the name for the 4th of July St Louis Party.

  • 2. Old Court House
    http://www.explorestlouis.com/newsReleases/oldCourthouse.asp?NrType=2

There is a nice lawn right in front of the Old Court House. Prefect place to put your blanket, lawn chairs and picnic. (There will be plenty of food to buy, you don't have to bring a picnic but it's allowed.)

The fireworks will be framed by the "The Arch" Totally amazing and beautiful! Be sure to to down to the arch museum then go up in the arch for a great view of the city. If you time it just right, you could be on the top of the arch for the fireworks!

  • 3. Best Frozen Custard in the World
    http://www.teddrewes.com/Drewes.asp

This is a St Louis Tradition! You will even see most likely see a Lemo stop at the curb, this place is included in many St Louis special events. It is even located on the old route 66.

There are always long lines, but they move like magic. The employees are like worker bees. They never write anything down and never get your order wrong. You have to order a concrete, my favorite flavor is Pistachio with chocolate custard.

  • 4. Charlie Gitto's on the Hill
    Charlie Gitto's, Saint Louis, Missouri

This is only one of the many family owned Italian Restaurants in the small area called "The Hill". You can't go wrong with any of them. Just pick one with the shortest wait! I have a list of all the Restaurants in my car, I go to a different one everytime I visit "The Hill".

  • 5. Best Zoo in the world, and it's FREE!
    http://www.stlzoo.org/

Located very close to downtown an easy drive from Ted Drews and the Hill!

  • 6. St. Louis Science Center
Saint Louis Science Center, Saint Louis, Missouri

Great Science Center.Fun for all ages. The old part is on the side of Hwy 40 next to the zoo. There is an enclosed glass crosswalk from the new Center to the Old center. While you are in the crosswalk you can aim a radar gun at the passing cars passing under the walkway! Very cool to do!
