Get up early and go for a sunrise walk or run along the river path or other trail
Colorado National Monument - drive it, run it, hike it, bike it, just go see it and take it all in.
Grand Mesa - cross country ski or tubing in the winter
Farmer's Market - downtown during June thru mid Sept., take the opportunity to see the funky statues downtown and visit local shops, kids' play areas dot Main St. and are great in the warmer months
Greystone Vineyards - try (then you will want to buy) their port
Rocky Mountain Meadery - go taste some unusual things and if near or thinking of the Holidays, ask them about their hot cider mixed with their mead (a great Holiday treat)!
Enstrom Candies - Go visit the store downtown, sample (then buy) their toffee. Truly the best English Toffee out there!
Watch the colors of the sunset paint the canvas of the Bookcliffs
