Family Fun In The Ozarks.

    Mystic Caverns, Harrison, Arkansas

    Two caves on one property. Fun and fairly easy cave tours.

  • 2. Cosmic Cavern
    Cosmic Cavern, Berryville, Arkansas

    Beautiful larger cavern with great photos. Bring your camera and on the tour the guide will take a family photo for you. Great free keepsake. We also panned for gemstones here.

    Great place to see big cats and bears up close. Wonderful staff that is very dedicated to taking care of all of their rescued animals.

    Beautiful smaller cave. Great for those like us who enjoy all caves or for first time cave visitors.

    Dive through zoo with wide variety of animals to see. Nice petting zoo as well ranging from goats to kangaroos. Also offers pony and or camel rides for children.

    The site of Sam Walton's Five and Dime (The first Wal-Mart) along with a small museum about Sam Walton's life and Wal-Mart.

    Great smaller cave for all cave lovers or first timers as well as nature trails, picnic area, maze, gemstone panning, and fish feeding along the lake. Great place to spend a day with the family.

  • 8. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park
    Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Lampe, Missouri

    Beautiful nature park with waterfalls and crystal clear streams filled with rainbow trout. Lots of activities available such as biking, horseback riding, segway rentals, fishing, ATV trails and a tram tour with animal viewing. There are also cabins for rent. Check the activity pricing on the website if you're on a budget but at least stop by and walk through. It's an amazing place that a family could enjoy the whole day.

    Family owned log cabins in Eureka Springs. The Morrell family lives on the property and rents out three beautiful log cabins. The family cabin has a bedroom as well as a loft area. This is the cabin we stayed in. The other two cabins are more suited for couples. There is a shared pool for the three cabins as well.
