Bahama Mama's

2 Jun 2006  Much Needed Girls Trip

A Fun Excursion in Freeport Brand Bahamas. We went on the Robinson Crusoe Beach Party. We were picked up at our resort by a nice air conditioned van and taken down to Port Lucaya to board a big catamaran anmed the Bahama Mama for a fun filled day of snorkeling and cruising the beautiful island waters. Fun for all ages. They give you unlimited Bahama Mama's or Lemonade. We snorkeled for about an hour and a half, where the water was breath taking, clear as a bell with amazing fish and coral. While we were out snorkeling the tour guides dove down and brought up conch, which they cleaned and prepared fresh conch salad for us to try. We bought the conch shells from them for $10.00. Really Cool. We next were taken to a private beach were we had an amazing lunch served of chicken, barbaque ribs, corn on the cob, beans and rice, rolls and once again all the bahama mama's you could consume...you could lay on the beach, play volleyball, stroll along the water and just relax. We played games as a group and won fun prizes. On the way back from our excursion the guides entertained us with music and limbo. It was incredible just how low they can go. They limboed under a stick that balanced on two beer bottles. Absolutley Amazing...Never touched once. They returned us to our resorts safe and sound and I will have to say it was soooo much fun. They even took pictures of your party when you entered the boat. The kids got into the music and danced and shook their booties...just a whole lot of fun. We were gone for 5 and a half hours. All for $59.00. Can't beat that.
