1. British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands are distributed around the Drake Channel. This makes sailing very easy for the unexperienced sailor, since you are not sailing in open ocean waters, almost never. You're in the water by 7 am and drop dead at 10 pm after a fabulous day of snorkelling, diving, swiming, fishing, reading, resting, sailing. You can cook aboard your lunch, and you can go to shore for a lovely dinner. Or you can make a nice barbecue onboard, and go ashore for drinks and some dancing on the beach. You can choose between being by yourself and your party or meeting people on the different islands you stop every day. |

| Your first stop after leaving Road Town. The perfect bay for a good snorkelling to the caves, and and early night after the excitement of your first day at sea. |

| The pefect midday stop. Arrive early since it is one of the most sorted snorkeling places in the BVI. Get a mooring, and get your snorkelling gear, take your dingy or swim from your boat into one of the most amazing places you will ever snorkel. The huge stones look like if they were spread by a giant. Go ashore and walk through the rocks following the signs. |

After three or four days at sea, you can enjoy a bit of civilization at the Bitter End Yach Club. This is real BVI sofistication. You can walk through the club, enjoy their restaurants, the shops and even their swimming pool. You can shop for groceries and enjoy some icecream sitting at the terrace, overlooking the sea. Go to the reef with your dingy and have a wonderful and colorful snorkel through amazing corals, and you can also race in the club's sailing boats and have lots of fun. |

| If you are an experienced sailor, you can sail from the Bitter End Yach Club, to Anegada by yourself. If you are a beginner, you can sail out with a flotilla. Either way results in an amazing experience in the most "shallow" island you can imagine. Rent a truck at the beach and drive across the island, and see how the fishermen and lobstermen live. Dine in any of the small restaurants by the beach and feast in their lobser. Don't forget your "Anegada" tee shirt, since it's really original to have one. |
