Places I went to with high hopes, but left disappointed

I've spent more time in Jacksonville then I would have really liked to. There's great beaches in the area, but there's not much to do in Jacksonville itself. Maybe it’s just a personal bias, but I don't think so. A nice place to pass through or spend a day or MAYBE two, but no more.
2. Bunker Hill, MA
Bunker Hill, Boston, Massachusetts
Don't let the history fool you, it lives up to it's name. It's a hill. If you're in Boston, there are MANY better things to see that a hill.
3. Plymouth Rock, MA
Plymouth Rock, Plymouth, Massachusetts
Again, don't let the history fool you. It's a rock surround by bars. You're in New England, there are better things to see.
4. Atlantic City, NJ
Atlantic City
East Coast's Las Vegas? Maybe the closest thing, but Las Vegas is unique and, from what I've heard, Atlantic City is no Las Vegas
5. Fort Caroline National Memorial
Fort Caroline National Memorial, Jacksonville, Florida
I've heard this place is a real let down; it's not much more than wall and a little more.
6. Washington, D.C.
Washington DC, District of Columbia
Not a bad city, I was just expecting more. Too crowded and not enough to do for me.
7. Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus
Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Sarasota, Florida
Just going off the reviews on TripAdvisor, but I'm not a fan of circuses.
8. Yankee Stadium
Yankee Stadium, Bronx, New York
Excuse my Red Sox bias, but come on; they're replacing it for a reason.
