Istanbul Shopping Malls on Taksim Metro Route.

Istanbul have many Shopping Malls, majority of them are on European side. This list will give the best shopping malls that can be reached by Metro Route which goes between Taksim & Istinye Metro Stations.

  • 1. Demiroren Istiklal Shopping Center
    Demiroren Istiklal Shopping Center, Istanbul, Turkey

    This is the first Shopping Mall in our list of malls on metro route and it is only 6-7 minutes walking distance from the beginning station of metro in Taksim Square. It is on Istklal Street, quite new and has many international & local brands.

  • 2. Istanbul Cevahir Mall

    After a 6-7 minutes walk from Demiroren Istiklal Shopping Center, once reaching to metro from Taksim Square, need to get off at the second station which is Mecidikekoy/Sisli. Without getting out to street level, by following Sisli signs, one can get directly to Istanbul Cevahir Mall from its underground floor.
    It is from one of the biggest shopping malls of Europe. It has very many brands but not very much from trendy ones, more a mid or upper-mid cost of shopping. Has a large food court and some fine dining restaurants at the upper floor.
    Have a supermarket, pharmacy, chance office, dry cleaning, cinema center and fun park for kids and youngsters etc.

  • 3. Profilo Alisveris Merkezi

    Profilo is also in walking distance from Mecidiyekoy/Sisli metro station. It is at the opposite direction of Cevahir Mall and need to go out to street level and walk about 6-7 minutes to Mecidiyekoy direction. Anybody will shot it if you ask as Profilo.
    It is from the oldest malls of Istanbul and have many international and local brands. Have a court court and also supermarket, pharmacy, chance office etc.

  • 4. Metrocity Alisveris Merkezi

    Two nos of stations after Mecidiyekoy/Slsli comes 1. Levet metro station. When you get off in this station, without getting out to street level, one can reach to Metrocity Alisveris Merkezi directly from metro underground.
    It is also a decent mall with many brands, a supermarket, food court, some cafes etc.

    Kanyon is in same 1. Levet metro station and have direct underground connection through metro line and also from MetroCity Mall.
    It is from one of the top shopping malls of Istanbul with the very well know international brands. It has gourmet kind of supermarket and many nice cafes, restaurants and fine dining rooms. It has a remarkable architecture as well.

  • 6. Akmerkez Alisveris Merkezi
    Akmerkez Alisveris Merkezi, Istanbul, Turkey

    Akmerkez is the oldest of all malls in this list however it is renovated recently so it is in good condition. It is about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the same 1. Levent metro station. It has everything for shopping with many international know brands. There is a very nice home store at the basement floor.
    Its food court is quite nice with some cafes and there is one very good Italian cuisine fine dining restaurants. It has same gourmet supermarket, a pet shop and also a change office.

    One stop after 1. Levent metro station Sapphire Mall comes at 4. Levent metro station. It can be reached from underground without going out to street level. It is good for shopping but not many many number of shops like the others ones. It has a good food court on the basement floor and have some really nice restaurant & cafes on the upper floors that some of them serve international cuisines such as Italian etc.
    It is the highest building of Istanbul and have a watch-terrace at the last floor where one can enjoy entire Istanbul from high above with a fee around USD 11.

  • 8. Istinye Park Mall
    Istinye Park Mall, Istanbul, Turkey

    Two nos of stations after 4. Levent station when get off at ITU Maslak Station after a 9-10 minutes downhill walk through Istinye direction will come Istinye Park Mall.
    It is from the top malls together with Kanyon however Istinye Park have more international known top brands more shopping varieties. It is very big and more for mid-up and upper cost shopping. It also has a big food court and a market place like spice pazaar. Market place is surronded with very nice restaurants such as steak house, fish grill etc.
    It also has an outside court at the ground level which is directly connected with the mall with central restaurants that are surrounded with international top brands.
