1. seal boat trips
This is a tourist attraction run by two lads from London. For a very reasonable £6.00 these friendly lads will take you on a trip to a nearby island where you can watch the seals and even see jellyfish ! The friendly tour guide even turned the boat around so that I could get a good camera shot of Dunvegan Castle. Highly recommended.
Friendly local hotel. The villagers were very friendly and the drink was reasonably priced. There was a nice, cosy atmosphere and the barmaid specially made me a cup of tea, although she was not obliged to do so.
3. skye tourist office
A friendly and helpful service. When I told the lady I had never been to the island before, she recommemded a very good map for a reasonable £5.00. She showed me all round the shop and gave me a lot of information about the Clan MacLeod which I found very helpful.
